My name is Jada Phillips, a junior art major with a concentration in Graphic Design studying at Howard University. Growing up on the South Side of Chicago, I witnessed the effects of violence and hardship up close. Those experiences shaped me-but they didn't harden me. Instead, they deepened my determination to be a light for others.
