Dr. Byron D. Hughes is from Houston, TX. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor and pediatric general and thoracic surgeon at University of Michigan Health. Hughes completed his fellowship as a pediatric general and thoracic fellow in Cincinnati, OH at the Cincinnati Children's Hospital. He received his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine and master's in Public Health from Tulane University. He attended Howard University for his undergraduate. Dr. Hughes's favorite quote is: "Making My Dreams a Reality...If God brings you to it, God will see you through it."
