Dr. Byron D. Hughes, Sr., is from Houston, TX. He is the Clinical Assistant Professor, Pediatric Surgery Associate Program Director, Pediatric Surgery Fellowship Medical Student Clerkship Director, Pediatric Surgery Associate Medical Director, Pediatric Trauma Program at University of Michigan, C. S. Mott Children's Hospital. Hughes completed his fellowship as a pediatric general and thoracic fellow in Cincinnati, OH at the Cincinnati Children's Hospital. He received his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine and master's in Public Health from Tulane University. He attended Howard University for his undergraduate.
